Rapid Cool Ice Boots | Targeted Cold Therapy for Your Horse’s Legs

Designed with durability, practicality and effectiveness in mind, Rapid Cool Ice Boots provide targeted cooling for your horse’s legs after training, exercise and competition. After researching available options on the market, from the most affordable to the most expensive – nothing met the standard required: tough fabric, strong Velcro, easy to use, and stays cold for a long time. So, we designed our own.

A specialised internal layer directs cold inward toward the leg, preventing it from escaping and keeping the boot from becoming damp on the outside. This innovative design keeps the boots colder for longer, delivering the cooling relief your horse needs when it matters most.

The outer shell is 400D Oxford fabric with a 200D inner lining – tough but comfortable. The boots are also wider than standard ice boots, so they wrap comfortably around any horse, including those with broader leg conformation.

Usage Guide

Freeze the boots before use. For best results, apply immediately after exercise. Once frozen, do not leave the boots on for longer than 15–20 minutes at a time. The standard protocol is 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off. Exceeding this time may cause more harm than good. Consult your veterinarian for specific therapeutic protocols.

Additional Uses

Rapid Cool Ice Boots can also be used on people for general injury icing. The same 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off protocol applies.
